Happy October ⋆。°✩ 🕸 ⋆。°✩

Ahh! My very first cosplay convention! Over the weekend I went to The Quad Comic Con & Toy Show and it was so fun. I felt at home! Everyone was super sweet and I’m happy that my costume got recognized as much as it did! There were so many cosplays and even though I didn’t know the references for all of them, I still enjoyed the AWESOME cosplays!

I especially geeked over the Alice in Wonderland cosplays, I LOVED the execution!

My Costume Details

If you don’t already know, I dressed as Miss Bellum from The Powerpuff Girls!

For my large afro I ordered a white one and used synthetic dye to get a beautiful orange color! If you don’t want to DIY, I linked an alternative afro. (It’s pretty but smaller which is why I prefer my 16″)

Raffle Contest

There were two raffle contests and my sister (who dressed as Shego) won the $100 card! The money could only be spent at the vendors for the Comic Con & Toy event and she decided to split her prize with me, so I spent the $50 on new comics! There were hundreds of books to choose from and when I saw a Misty Knight comic I freaked!!! I LOVE MISTY KNIGHT!! I also freaked out when I saw a Joker comic, he looked so evil and I loveeeee antagonists! Misty and Joker are complete opposites so me freaking out over them both is so funny. Duality! I got a ton of books, most of which are female led, or at least they’re on the cover… hehe. I can’t wait to read em all. :]

Miss Bellum ended up being my first cosplay in a while, I had so much fun I can’t wait to do more cosplays!! <3
